My mother called a Helpline of the Bulgarian Safer Internet Centre because I was accused of bullying by girl in my class. Nice, ah… but I did do anything wrong.
So let me give you some of the story. First of all, I should say that this story isn’t just about one day situation. The problems started a long time ago when we started school last year. From the beginning, this girl wasn’t very friendly, but I thought it would get better with time. In fact, I always tried to be a good classmate and help everyone around me.
But the problems got worse when the girl’s grandmother started threatening me. She was there before and after school, saying horrible things to me. It made me very tense and insecure. Instead of enjoying school, I started to feel bad and anxious.
So, our class teacher invited our families to watch the camera footage to see what really happened. According to my mom, the recordings clearly showed that there was no bullying and violence from my side. The girl has been suspended from school because her parents are worried. Her grandmother constantly threaten me by coming before and after school and saying horrible things to me like “I will destroy you” or “I will crush you”. She also wrote in the viber chat of the class that I am a villain and nasty person.
My teacher advised my mom not to let this grandma write such things to me online and blocked her. And also, they directed me to a place where my mom can complain about this grandma because apparently this is mental abuse. My mom also started thinking about a restraining order against the grandmother. I was really awful… I never understood why she did this to me…
